I have created a questionnaire to give to Safe guarding teachers and head teachers in a few schools in order to receive some feedback on the actions they have in place if a Cyberbullying incident does occur. I received some feedback from teachers regarding my questionnaire on how to improve the questions in order to receive the best feedback in relation to my chosen topic.. I have linked it below....

I have emailed two Safeguarding Professionals my questionnaire. One professional works in a large primary school and another works in a large secondary school. This research will help me to decide my target audience for my music video as the feedback will dictate what ages needs the education of my music video.

Part Three; Secondary Research

Today, I researched into government's approach to online abuse and what they feel is the correct way to handle Cyber Bullying. I have produced a summary of the article ( linked below) to give you an understanding of the aims the government have to reduce Cyber Bullying and also repercussions users will have when they bully others online.

I found the article beneficial as it allowed me to understand how the government are implementing legislations and ensuring that social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are protecting users. It is evident that the government are introducing new laws regulating the internet  due to the increase in numbers of Cyber Bullying cases and the increase in mental health issues in younger adults.

Part Two; Secondary Research

Today, I researched into the annual bullying survey by Ditch The Label.org to get a greater understanding on the impacts of cyber bullying, the bullying statistics in the UK and also the motivations of bullying. I put together a power point in which gives a breakdown of the survey, and also the statistics I aim to use in my video, which I have linked below. My main aims for my video is to raise awareness for cyber bullying and to educate my audience to understand the extent of the issue and the impacts of bullying.

Today, I decided to complete some secondary research into anti-bullying videos that are already used within schools.
